Historic family home in the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire. 2.5 km from Amboise, 55 minutes from Paris (TGV), 1 hour from London (Tours airport).
Part of the Château for 10 people: living room with fireplace, kitchen, 5 bedrooms (including 2 air-conditioned bedrooms), 4 bathrooms, beds made, towels provided, 1 hectare of park, private heated swimming pool, plancha, garden furniture, swing, table tennis, high speed Wifi in all rooms.
The castle has been in the same family since 1595 and its composite architecture ranges from the 13th to the 19th century.
Paul Scarron, burlesque poet, lived there with his wife, Françoise d’Aubigné, who became Marquise de Maintenon and morganatic wife of Louis XIV.

One the round floor
Entrance hall: leading to the living room with 18th century carved wooden staircase.
Dining kitchen: triple aspect room, 2 French windows, close to the pool and the living area. Numerous work surfaces, dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, large capacity fridge/freezer combination, induction hob.
Storeroom: storage space, washing machine.
Living room: Large sofa, large armchairs, closed fireplace/wood burner, TV, Molotov access, DVD player, wifi broadband access.
Bathroom: shower, washbasin, wc.
On the first floor
1st bedroom with bathroom:1 double bed (160×200), table, chair, bathroom, wardrobe, wc.
2nd bedroom: 2 twin beds (90×190), wardrobe, table, chair, armchair.
3rd bedroom: 2 twin beds (90×200), wardrobe, chair.
Bathroom: bathub, washbasin, wc.
On the second floor
4th bedroom with air conditioning and shower room: 2 twin beds (90×190), table, chair, shower room, wc.
5th bedroom with air conditioning: 2 single beds (90×190), armchair, desk, chair.
Services and facilities
Beds will be made on arrival (duvets), towels provided, a baby kit is available (high chair, bathub, cot). The Château de La Vallière is equipped with high speed Wifi 15Mb/s in Reception and 21Mb/s in Sending.
You will be able to walk in the park of the domain and visit our pension for horses pensiondelavalliere.fr. Amboise and its castle are located at 5 minutes by car and Tours at 20 minutes. A loop of the Loire by bike route passes not far from the property, you can consult the site of the Loire by bike.
